Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is at an awesome location just a little walk from the Thames river, with bus stops in front of the hotel and the underground station right behind the corner. The rooms were exactly as in other Ibis hotels, basic but comfortable and practical, with air conditioning, although the double occupancy room was kinda small. The service went above and beyond, with an amazing can-do attitude and big smiles, without any knocking, and they were excellent in ensuring no one waited too long. The location was fantastic, right by Southwark tube station which is perfect for the Jubilee line, and also a pleasant walk to the Thames and beyond. The dining experience was excellent, with a variety of foods to choose from, even though it might be a bit pricey for someone who eats a small breakfast. The facilities were good, plenty of everything was available.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, but the price I had to pay per night was ridiculously high. On the bright side, the service was exceptional and the location was convenient for exploring the city.
I was impressed by the hotel's convenient location, being just minutes away from Waterloo Station and a stone's throw from the tube station, although the rooms were a bit noisy and lacked enough power outlets, they were clean, modern, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious.
The hotel is conveniently located near the Tube station and Borough Market, making it a great base for exploring the city. The rooms, while clean and equipped with basic amenities, would benefit from some modern updates. The service was exceptional, with staff being very courteous and helpful. The dining options offered a variety of choices, though the pricing was a bit on the higher side. Overall, a comfortable stay with a fantastic location for those wanting easy access to London's landmarks.
I can't believe they put me on the fifth or sixth floor when I was carrying all my equipment and exhausted. The room was very basic, not somewhere I'd want to spend much time in, a little colder than the rest of the hotel, but it was incredibly clean and spacious.
The hotel is in a convenient location next to Southwark underground station, making it easy to get around the city. The rooms are small and eccentric, but there were some cleanliness issues that could be improved. The dining options were varied and fresh, exceeding expectations, though at an extra cost. The service was generally efficient and friendly, although room cleaning was delayed in the afternoon.
The hotel is in a great central London location, close to all major tourist attractions. The rooms, though basic, are comfortable and spacious, located at the quiet end of the hall. The service was exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond with late check-out excuses. Dining, while well-organized, had disappointing cheap ingredients. The hotel facilities are standard but well-priced for the central location.
The hotel is ideally located in the heart of the city, just steps away from key underground stations and surrounded by galleries, restaurants, and theatres. The rooms, though basic, are suitable for the price paid with a minor noise issue promptly resolved. The service is friendly, with a convenient spot for exploring London's attractions and a good dining experience. In terms of value for money, it offers a prime location and decent amenities.
The hotel offers a good location with comfortable and clean rooms, although some noise disturbance affected my sleep. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the dining experience exceeded expectations. However, the price may not fully align with the room standard.
The hotel offers clean and cozy rooms in a convenient location near the tube station, with a plentiful and good value breakfast. However, the rooms can get too hot at times.
The hotel is located in a bustling spot near Blackfriars tube station, making it convenient to explore London. The rooms, although on the smaller side, had all the essentials and efficient bathrooms. Overall, a great and affordable stay in the heart of the city.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the Southwark underground station and minutes away from the Thames. The rooms were clean and tidy, though on the smaller side, with a powerful shower. The service was overall pleasant, but there were delays and moments of rudeness. The dining options were good, offering variety but lacking in some areas. The facilities were satisfactory, with some room for improvement.
This hotel had all we needed for a city stay at £200. The rooms were medium-sized with twin beds, a padded bench, a small closet, several shelves, a small but efficient bathroom with a good shower, and tea/coffee making facilities; however, as always in IBIS, there was no fridge/minibar in the room.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The room had some view of the London Eye, although partly obstructed by other buildings. On the downside, the room was smaller to accommodate the bathroom and had uncomfortable, rock-hard beds and pillows, stained sheets, and an unpleasant bathroom. The service had its shining moment when Jose went above and beyond for us during a very late check-in, but overall, the staff seemed clueless, understaffed, and disorganized. The location was fantastic, especially for exploring London, close to the Underground and key attractions. The dining experience was decent but could be a bit slow at times. Overall, considering the price paid, it was a stay with mixed feelings.
My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The rooms were a bit noisy but had all the basic facilities you would expect in an ibis hotel, although the lack of a view was disappointing. The staff at the reception were incredibly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile to help out with anything I needed. The location was superb, just a short walk from Southwark Underground Station and close to many of the main attractions. However, the dining experience left much to be desired due to limited options and relatively high prices.
